In defining each, we learn a private sector in an economy consist of all businesses and firms owned by ordinary members of the general public. It also consists of all the private households in which people live. The public sector in an economy is owned and controlled by a government. As for the differences with their policy decisions, the activities in the public sector have a goal of adhering to what is indicated by law, while the private sector is driven by the rules of shareholders and corporate owners. Schmidt (2008) states, â€Å"The research agenda of companies is more focused and targeted and therefore perceived as easier to handle for managers. Also, the decision-making process is different. Trust is very important to individuals who experience such torment. Trust and understanding goes a long way. Schools are over populated, and parents are either too busy or nonexistent, forcing kids to feel alone. Most children who cyber bully are also dealing with issues that no one pays attention to. The victim is both parties rather we want to accept it or not. â€Å"A current problem and concept, cyber-victimization, is defined as the situation in which one or more individuals are exposed to harmful behavior personally or individuals experience it as legal entity through communication technologies (Ar?cak, 2011). Cyber bullying; by a group or individual, with computer or mobile phone, etc. is defined as an aggressive, intentional harmful behavior carried out by means of communication (Smith et al. 2008). Cyber bullying or cyber victimization can be seen in various forms. Some of those; online fighting, harmful activities, libel, identity change, unauthorized use of information, provocation, cyber harassment and exclusion (Willard, 2007). Unlike real victimization and bullying, there is no physical interaction between the cyber victim and the cyber bully. In this regard, cyber victimization and bullying have become an international problem (Antoniadou Kokkinos, 2015; Ayas Horzum, 2012; Bhat, 2008; Boronenko, Menshikov Marzano, 2013; Keith Martin, 2005). The impact of cyber bullying on the victim can be more damaging for a few reasons. The first one can be more damaging than the attacker that keeps his identity hidden. Second, because there is no direct relationship with the victim, the attacker may tend to feel less empathy or regret. Third, Mass media can reach a large audience in a short time. Finally, adult control is limited because the number of adults using the internet is less (Dempsey, Sulkowski, Nichols Storch, 2009; Kokkinos, Antoniadou Markos, 2014; Smith Slonje, 2010)†. I mentor children who has lost a parent rather its by violence, sickness or due to their own selfish reasons. My children I mentor trust me and I do everything in my power to ensure them that they are loved. As I was sitting in my office, I received a call from a young girl who was referred to me by another child I mentor. She stated she has been dealing with bullying for a long time and today she feels like she does not want to live anymore. Hearing this made my heart drop. This student was only eleven and was forced to feel like the world was to much for her to deal with. I told her I would love to talk to her and help her deal with what she is feeling. I told her I would come to the school if she would like and talk to her outside of school. She asked can we meet outside of school first I said yes and told her to give me the number to her parents. I told her I will get their permission and asked would it be a problem. She said no. I told her I will see her shortly. I called her parents to inform them I was a mentor for their daughter and asked if it would be ok if I meet with their daughter today. They agreed. Later I meet with the student and took her out to an ice-cream parlor. I told her whenever she was ready, I’m here to listen. She begins telling me what she has been going through. When she arrived at school everyone stood around laughing and pointing at her. Unaware as to what was going on, she ran to the bathroom crying. Her friend which is also my mentee found her and told her what was gong on. She told her that there is a picture that was posted on social media comparing her face to that of a toad. Due to her acne she was picked on a lot. The friend then said the picture was shares all over Facebook and text messages. Someone made copies of the picture and also posted it in school. she cried more and told her friend she wishes she can die, that way she will stop being picked on. Her friend cried with her and asked he would she try and talk to someone. She then said that no one ever does anything so killing her self will solve the problem for her. Her friend then told her about me and begged her to try and talk to me. She agreed and called. After she told me everything, I asked what it was that she feels should be done. She said she just wants i t to stop, she wants to be able to live life without the fear of being on. It was not her fault her acne was bad, but it makes her feel like she was very ugly. Heartbroken I looked at her and cried. I begin to give her a little about myself. I assured her that I will do everything in my power to help you deal with everything. She asked me why to do I care so much that I will be willing to help her. I simply told her because I am you. My job is to make sure children never feel unloved. If I can show children that even when you feel like no one understands and love seems to be distant god will always make it better. She said her parents are always to busy for her to talk to. The next day I got I went straight to the school. I talked to teachers’ principals and counselors. Everyone seemed to be surprised. That was an issue. I walked in the school and saw a picture on the floor. How is it that they can say they had no knowledge? I showed them the picture and asked did they see this? They stated yes but they assumed it was a joke. With fury in my eyes I respectfully said how do you consider this a joke, this is total torment and bullying. Did you know it was also posted on social media? Did you ever pulled the girl to the side and ask how she feels about it? Their answer was no they have such a big case load that they didn’t think that it was serious. I informed them they can either investigate it thoroughly, and deal with it properly, or I can have people come in and deal with it, and that the choice was theirs. Some people would stop there and assume their job was done, but I did not. See there is a greater purpose to this journey and she needed to be understood. I meet with her three times a week after school. She opened more and let me in. She said can feel love and can talk to me about anything. Her thoughts of suicide no longer existed. She knows she is beautiful, and hand made by god. We talked about ways to stop bullying. If more parents are active in their children’s life bullying can be reduced. At eleven years old why is a phone or social media a possession. I understand a child having a phone because it helps with their safety, but internet should not be accessible. Phones should only be allowed before school and after. Restrictions need to be placed on children’s phones and computers. We should make the counseling of parents and children a high priority. School counselors should be more open to asking if the student is doing ok and if anything is bothering them. She said schools also need to step up. Most bullying happens because the schools don’t care enough to deal with it. If strict actions are being made to those who participate in bulling it may also be reduce. It takes a team to make these revision and put the action in place. Action means change.

Probably, the most prominent ideas on that theory were expressed in the work of John Hicks called Mr. Keynes and the Classics. The model expressed in the article was largely based on the works of John Maynard Keynes and became a widely accepted as the alternative framework to standard Keynesian analysis. The IS-LM model is a way of modelling equilibrium in the economy by looking at equilibrium in the goods and services markets (the IS curve) and equilibrium in the money markets (LM curve). For example, it may become widely believed that the MPC (Monetary Policy Committee) is going to reduce the rate of interest. In that case, number of leackages in the economy in the form of savings is likely to decline and consumption to increase. This will result in the larger propensity to consume for every marginal unit of income. Increase in consumption should lead to increase in investment and more flatter IS curve (see figure 3), which will mean greater degree of crowding out. Introduction Societies view on women has changed drastically over the past few centuries. During the eighteenth century, women were looked down upon and were treated poorly and unfairly. They had far less rights than men did at the time. They could not vote, could not receive formal schooling and could not hold any political positions. Women were seen as pathetic humans who could not work laborious jobs and were only useful in the house. Slowly, times started to change for the better. Groups of women formed together and fought against the unfairness. These women fought for their rights and for the rights of all women in the country. Still the Monroe Doctrine showed that the United States was taking an active role in world affairs. ( Burgan, 2007 pg. 8) Following the Monroe Doctrine the United States was largely quiet, when it came to any affairs with Europe, and the main course of its military action took place internally. S uch conflicts as the several different battles with the Native American Tribes, that where encountered during the quest for xpansion of the United Sates was the main concerns. There was also of course the war with Mexico, which was fought to protect the United States interest and secure a solid border and claim everything north of the Rio Grand. The United States also endured a war within itself throughout the nineteenth century, but the only action it took against a threatening European country would be the wars again the French during the French intervention in Mexico, as well as against the Spanish, resulting from the United States intervention in the Cuban War for Independence. Isolationism to Super Powered Page 6 Immediately after 1945 (the end of the war) the United States produced about half of the worlds manufactured goods and held half the worlds currency reserves. † (Kimball, 1992 pg. 30) They also put in effect the Marshall Plan to help rebuild Western Europe after the effects of World War II, to help protect it from the growing threat of communist Russia. â€Å"Original accounts of the Marshall Plan, or European Recovery Program as it was know officially, hailed this celebrated enterprise as evidence of Americas assumption of world leadership after the Second World War. Together with the North Atlantic Treaty (NATO) and other instruments of Cold War diplomacy, the Marshall plan supposedly marked the end of the isolationist era and the beginning of what Henry Luce called the â€Å"American Century. † (Hogan, 1989 pg. 1) However even with the Marshall Plan in action, the threat of Russia, also a superpower following the Second World War, and communism would continue to threaten the world till this day. Following World War II came Americas involvement in the Korean War in June 1950. The Korean war was between the Republic of Korea (aided by the United States) and the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (aided by Peoples Republic of China and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic or U. S. S. R). Communism was spreading its way throughout Asia and the United States. The United States felt that total Communist control of Korea, would weaken the area and make Japan vulnerable , which they felt was a major strategic military point for the threats of the United Soviet Socialist Republic and Communist China. Not to mention they felt they needed to contain Communism and the Kremlin. The Korean War eventually ended in a stalemate, with both North and South Korea still split at the 38 Parallel, also know as the demilitarized zone. However it put a halt to anymore fighting in Korea Isolationism to Super Powered Page 7 during the remainder of the Cold War. By the end of the Korean War and the rising threat of the Cold War, it was evidently clear that the United States stance on isolationism and not interfering in Worldly affairs had changed, and rightfully so. The United States had to deal with the Cuban Missile Crisis, which consisted of the Soviet eployment of nuclear missiles in Cuba, which caused a direct threat of an attack on American solid, a threat that had not existed since the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. President John F. Kennedy had to take action by ordering a naval blockade of all Soviet cargo being shipped to Cuba. The standoff lasted fourteen days, eventually ending with the Soviet Union withdrawing the missiles. A couple years later following the assassination of President Kennedy, President Lyndon Johnson would enter the Vietnam Conflict. The V ietnam War was fought between the North Vietnamese, with their communist allies and he South Vietnamese, with support from the United States, and other anti-communist allies. The United States entered the war trying to protect from the further spread of Communism throughout Asia, but in the long run the war turned out just to be a civil conflict between the two Vietnamese countries. The author Louis Zimmer says it best in his book titled The Vietnam War Debate: Hans J. Morgenthau and the Attempt to Halt the Drift into Disaster when he states how the war, â€Å"was a failure to acknowledge the conflict between North Vietnam and South Vietnam as a civil war among indigenous Vietnamese, and a confusion about a Communist as a monolithic threat when the monolith had been separated had become fragmented into national communist states. † (Simmer, 2011 pg. xi) The Vietnam War eventually turned out to be a disaster for the United States and South Vietnam eventually fell. The United States casualties during the war totaled 58,000 soldiers of which 47,400 (81. 7%) died in battle. Isolationism to Super Powered Page 7 (Dunnigan, 2000 pg. 241) Following the Vietnam War many people questioned the United States stance on foreign policy. Some believed the idea of the United States returning to a more isolationist stance should be considered, however we were still faced with the threat of the continuing Cold War. The Cold War would last for several more years following the Vietnam War. Since it began in 1945 following World War II, many Presidents had tried to do their part to end Communism and the growing threat of nuclear supremacy. During the 1980s and the Presidential term of Ronald Reagan the threat was at an all time high. The Soviet deployment of nuclear missiles directed toward Europe and President Gary Carters, along with NATO, previous deployment of nuclear missiles in West Germany, had the world on the edge of their seat. The Cold War was however resolved eventually when both the United States and the Soviet Union agreed to the Intermediate-Rage Nuclear Forces Treaty. Followed by the Soviet Unions economic decline, cause by military overspending, the end of the Cold War was mad official on December 3, 1989 between Gorbachev and George H. W. Bush. Directly following the end of the Cold War George H. W. Bush would be faced with the Gulf War fought between the United Nations and Iraq, because of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, who was accused of stealing oil by Saddam Hussein. This was just the begin of what would be several years of conflict between the United States and Iraq. Years following the Gulf War on September 11, 2001 the United States was deliberately attack buy suicide bombers associated with Osama bin Laden and his terrorist group AL-Qaeda. This would be followed two years later by a United States invasion of Iraq, who was thought to have weapons of mass Isolationism to Super Powered Page 8 destruction, which was never proved, as well as thought to be aiding AL-Quaeda’s jihad (religious war). Much like the United States involvement in Vietnam, the Invasion of Iraqi has been scrutinized, mainly because of lack of evidence and reasoning for the invasion. One through the research can easily conclude would eventually need to take action to protect certain interests from opposing powers, but can also see that there are times that we need or needed to ot involve ourselves in foreign affairs. One can feel after the September, 11 attacks we should surely concentrate on protect our own borders, but there will be times when we should interfere in the future, and one can hope that we have the right men and women in the government at the time to choose correctly.
